About Erika

Hi everyone! I’m a preschool teacher who works with little ones ages 1–5, and I also have experience with elementary-aged kids. I truly love working with children being able to support them, help them learn, and watch them grow is such a meaningful and joyful experience for me. I’m always happy to help in any way I can. I have a bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a minor in Health Science. I’m a big believer in giving children the space to express their emotions and helping them understand what they’re feeling, especially during those big, tough moments. Patience and empathy are really important to me, and I always try to create a safe, comforting environment for every child. I love doing arts and crafts, reading stories, and just being playful and silly with the kids. I can be on the shy side at first, but once I warm up, I’m very kind, understanding, and down-to-earth. And lastly I’m definitely a dog person! I currently have two big pups who bring a lot of joy to my life. Looking forward to connecting! 💛
