Hi, I’m Zoë! I am a UF graduate and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have experience babysitting in my teenage years, and have been babysitting consistently for a little less than 3 years. I love reading, cooking, and music and hope I can nurture any of those passions in kids! I worked with children in my first two placements during my program and learned a lot. I also grew up with and adore cats, so any non-aggressive pets are not a problem! **Due to my current clinic and school schedule I am primarily available on Friday nights, Saturday nights, and early Sunday evenings. Please reach out if you need a last minute sit for a few hours for a date night!** The parents’ preferences always come first, but I always try to find alternatives to Screen time especially when it comes to impressionable toddlers— the TV is rarely on if I can help it! Helping kids use their imaginations to play and learn is fulfilling and fun for me as well! I speak English but have a fair understanding of Brazilian Portuguese. Two families I worked for prior were bilingual households, so I am comfortable with the children speaking in another language but also helping them practice their English!
