Devonshire Babysitters

Hello parents! I am a Butler University alumni who was involved in College Mentors for Kids, Alpha Phi, and the Butler club swim team. I am now working (9am-5pm) at Thrive Orthopedics in Carmel. I love to be around kids - I have nannied 3 kids for 3 summers and 1 year old twins for a summer. I’m an animal lover and have had dogs and cats, and I am comfortable taking care of pets. If you need me to drive, I have a car and I am a safe and cautious driver. I am also usually flexible about start and end times if anything comes up. PS I started going by my first name, Isabelle/Izzy after high school, which is why some of my Bambino recommendations say “Maggie”.

I’m very used to working with kids, I’ve been sitting for relatives and family friends since middle school. I’m fluent in Spanish and English so for the past summers I was a counselor at a little kids camp, where I taught them Spanish and helped them with their homework. I’m very easy going, social, and love to meet new people! :) CPR✔️

Hello, my Name is Alyssa. I am currently in college pursuing my master’s degree in Healthcare Social Work, and I’ve been caring for children for over 10 years. As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve spent much of my life helping care for younger children, along with babysitting for families from my parents’ church community. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and do especially well with siblings and multi-child households. I like to keep children engaged through a balance of creative activities and playing outside, depending on the family’s preferences and the children’s interests. I am patient, dependable, and skilled in de-escalation conflict. I am additionally able to help with tutoring and guiding children through chores and routines. I’m comfortable assisting with math, science, and social studies homework.

I am a Registered Behavior Technician for children with autism. The children I work with vary in age between 18 months and twelve years. I have been a Registered Behavior Technician since 2021. Along with my full time job, I have been a respite care lead since 2022. At my respite job I work with children, teens, and adults with disabilities ranging in age from 6 months to 60 years old. Prior to specifically working with individuals with special needs, I worked at a girls only after school and summer program for several years. I currently live on the north east side of Indy with my dachshund!

Nothing gets me more excited than being able to spend time with kids, they’re just so fun! Kids of all ages have such great quirks to them and it’s such a unique experience to be able to help and watch them grow. I want to be a role model, friend, and someone children and parents can count on.
