Lawrence-Fort Ben-Oaklandon Babysitters

I’m very used to working with kids, I’ve been sitting for relatives and family friends since middle school. I’m fluent in Spanish and English so for the past summers I was a counselor at a little kids camp, where I taught them Spanish and helped them with their homework. I’m very easy going, social, and love to meet new people! :) CPR✔️

I am a hard worker and very precise with any work I do. I am patient and a very good listener. I always strive for success and I never give up on a task no matter how hard it is. I adore spending time with the kiddos especially babies! I have 11 siblings not including myself. 2 older than me and 9 younger. I’ve raised and cared for them all since birth and I love each and every one of them dearly. I’m excellent with children, and aside from baby sitting within my family, I have years of community babysitting experience. I hope to be your kiddos short or long-term caregiver! See you soon:) -- ~Zarkayla Mathews

Hello, my Name is Alyssa. I am currently in college pursuing my master’s degree in Healthcare Social Work, and I’ve been caring for children for over 10 years. As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve spent much of my life helping care for younger children, along with babysitting for families from my parents’ church community. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and do especially well with siblings and multi-child households. I like to keep children engaged through a balance of creative activities and playing outside, depending on the family’s preferences and the children’s interests. I am patient, dependable, and skilled in de-escalation conflict. I am additionally able to help with tutoring and guiding children through chores and routines. I’m comfortable assisting with math, science, and social studies homework.
