I currently have open availability due to nanny family moving. EMT certified (life saving interventions, medication administration). Non smoking, clean background! :) I have the confidence and experience to watch multiple children while keeping them safe and happy! I have a large realm of experience nannying ages newborn-14 year old, as well as experience with special needs. I also have a love for kids that makes babysitting fun not only for them but for me! I am outgoing, warm, social and family oriented. I’ve been watching kids for over 14 years now. I always find a way to play and bond with the children! I am also a tutor in a variety of subjects if thats needed! All that being said, I hope I can be chosen to make some fun memories with your family! I more than 15 years of experience working with children, ages 3 days to 13 years of age, including multiple-children households, overnight and weekend stays. I believe that children want to be loved, respected and empathized with. My favorite activities are outdoor play and sports. I played recreational softball for years. My reading favorites are Dr. Seuss, Bernstein Bears, Sandra Boynton, Pete the Cat, and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (and friends). In art - I love coloring, painting, clay, and multi-media. In fine motor skills development, I enjoy Legos, Play-Doh, coloring, paper ripping and cutting, puzzles, trains, trucks, etc. I also enjoy outings to the library, park, nature center, and museums.

I have been a full-time nanny since April, 2019 when I started watching a five and a two-years-old boys. I stayed with the first family for 2.5 years. After that, I worked part time for a few months watching a ten-months-old and a two-years-old boys - I still babysit them often! Finally, I started with my current family in November of 2021, when their little boy was 4 months old, and have been watching his little brother since he was 6 weeks old. I have a great relationship with the families that I have worked for, and have plenty of references in case anyone wants to check. Furthermore, I enjoy bonding with children (and families) and making them comfortable so that they look forward to having me again. Besides those, I often babysit on the weekends and have successfully watched multiple children overnight. Previous to starting this joyful journey, I had also in many occasions helped relatives and neighbors with their little and not so little ones. Additionally, I am a native Portuguese speaker - from Brazil - and fluent in English. I completed my bachelors degree in Business in 2018 - with a great gpa - and currently study finance at CPCC. I graduated in 2017 from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelors of science, having majored in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in child, youth, and family development and a minor in American Sign Language. I’ve worked as a professional, career Nanny for nearly a decade and have cared for children aged newborn to twelve years. I am a Newborn Care Specialist and I have experience with several sets of multiples (newborn twins, as well as toddler-aged twins), children with developmental delays, and internationally adopted children. I have experience with sick children as a volunteer with Brenner Children's Hospital and Make-A-Wish Foundation. I am medical provider CPR and First Aid Certified and a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician with Safe Kids Worldwide. **Most, but not all, sit requests will require bringing my Feb 2022 child with me.
