Commonwealth Babysitters

I am a 27 year old working young lady! I come from a huge family so I have a plethora of babysitting experience, as well as caring for children in different settings. I’ve worked as a behavioral therapist for children on the spectrum, a 5th grade teacher, and watching after little ones when their parents need a break. I would say I’m loving, fun, exciting, and patient. Looking forward to meeting you all!

I have babysat for friends and family ever since I can remember and absolutely love it! We have fun and stay safe while getting everything that needs to be done, done.

I more than 15 years of experience working with children, ages 3 days to 13 years of age, including multiple-children households, overnight and weekend stays. I believe that children want to be loved, respected and empathized with. My favorite activities are outdoor play and sports. I played recreational softball for years. My reading favorites are Dr. Seuss, Bernstein Bears, Sandra Boynton, Pete the Cat, and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (and friends). In art - I love coloring, painting, clay, and multi-media. In fine motor skills development, I enjoy Legos, Play-Doh, coloring, paper ripping and cutting, puzzles, trains, trucks, etc. I also enjoy outings to the library, park, nature center, and museums.

Hi I’m Syd! I recently graduated from UNCC with a B.S in Psychology :) Right now I work as a Bible Club coordinator, and afterschool nanny, but in the past I have worked as a kids art instructor, toddler/preschool assistant teacher, a nanny, and a camp counselor at the Whitewater center! I love cooking, playing board games, enjoying the outdoors, and watching Disney movies! I consider myself very adaptable to whatever your home life may be, and take my responsibility over children and their safety seriously. Can’t wait to have fun with your little ones!
