My name is Chelsey and I’m a 34 year old, single Charlotte Native, who lives in the SouthPark area! If you are looking for a more mature babysitter, that is highly experienced and qualified, I’d love to speak with you. I am the oldest of 4 children and began babysitting for the kids in my neighborhood when I was 12. I have always been naturally gifted with children! 🖤 In addition to babysitting, throughout high school and college, I was the lead instructor (and eventually the manager) of The Little Gym of Charlotte. I taught developmental and educational gymnastics and dance classes to children from 4 months old to 12 years old, in addition to leading camps and birthday parties. After graduating from Queens University in 2014, I became a wedding planner - but still kept babysitting for my long-term clients. I eventually took a break from babysitting to build my wedding business… but also, all of my babysitting kids had grown up! 🤣 Most recently (before Bambino), I was a part-time nanny for a high achieving family in Myers Park. I started with them when their child was 3 weeks old and continued to work with them until she was in Kindergarten. I still see her at least a few times a month, at age 9 :) I am still in touch with most of the families that I have babysat over the years, we truly become friends and I genuinely care about the children. I love watching them grow! I am comfortable with any age (newborn to teens), any amount of children, and I love pets! I have also worked with many different allergies, medical conditions, and ability levels. I grew up babysitting during the time before screens, so I naturally gravitate to more engaging activities such as creative play, outdoor play, and arts & crafts.
