Looking for fill-in nanny work and date nights in between my 3 nursing shifts a week and my pediatric RN program classes. I work on a 95% non-infectious disease adult intermediate ICU floor and take disease control and prevention seriously. Please give me a heads up about any present or recent illness, antibiotic usage, fever, diarrhea or vomiting within 48 hours of a booking, as I often care for newborns and infants. My favorite type of human are toddlers and preschoolers, but I do not pigeon-hole myself to only taking care of the under-5s. Fun Facts: I can read baby books in English, German, French and Spanish! I addition to those 4 languages, I can also count in Hebrew and know basic words and phrases in some 17 total languages. My immersive language preschool in Central Florida continues to provide dividends! It also helps that I studied abroad twice, first in Poland (including quite near to where my grandfather was born in Austria-Hungary) and then in Austria. Ich spreche wienerdeutsch! I also taught Social Studies. I am a human magnet for children and adults with significant ADHD and GI challenges. (These come together in really fascinating ways during potty training). I plan on centering my graduate school research on the efficacy of meditative sports in conjunction with non-stimulant ADHD medicines. Feel free to ask me about it! Note: I accept bookings that are 4 hours or longer and am simply not interested in working the after school hours (3-6), unless they are part of a full day. I also work date events, weddings and overnights for families and have for many years. Please note that my tutoring rates will be higher, as tutoring is an entirely different ballgame than regular childcare. I have 20 some years of childcare experience, since I was a kid myself. I taught 5th grade (covering Math, Religion, Science and Social Studies) at a Catholic school, been a summer camp counselor, taught at a Vacation Bible School, taught Sunday School for 10 years and have professionally nannied for newborns up through to the middle school years. Additionally, I am a college graduate, have 0 tattoos or body piercings, a lifelong non-smoker, a passport holder and strong swimmer. I have looked after kids with special needs, preemies, twins and everything in between. I look forward to working for you!

Hi parents! Thank you for considering me for babysitting! I’m a former retail manager turned nanny and babysitter! I’ve been nannying full-time for the past seven years along with babysitting for multiple families in my area and through my church. I have experience with ages 2.5 months-12 years, with the majority of my experience being with infants, babies, and toddlers. I am CPR & first aid certified and am also a certified nursing assistant. I more than 15 years of experience working with children, ages 3 days to 13 years of age, including multiple-children households, overnight and weekend stays. I believe that children want to be loved, respected and empathized with. My favorite activities are outdoor play and sports. I played recreational softball for years. My reading favorites are Dr. Seuss, Bernstein Bears, Sandra Boynton, Pete the Cat, and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (and friends). In art - I love coloring, painting, clay, and multi-media. In fine motor skills development, I enjoy Legos, Play-Doh, coloring, paper ripping and cutting, puzzles, trains, trucks, etc. I also enjoy outings to the library, park, nature center, and museums.

I have been a full-time nanny since April, 2019 when I started watching a five and a two-years-old boys. I stayed with the first family for 2.5 years. After that, I worked part time for a few months watching a ten-months-old and a two-years-old boys - I still babysit them often! Finally, I started with my current family in November of 2021, when their little boy was 4 months old, and have been watching his little brother since he was 6 weeks old. I have a great relationship with the families that I have worked for, and have plenty of references in case anyone wants to check. Furthermore, I enjoy bonding with children (and families) and making them comfortable so that they look forward to having me again. Besides those, I often babysit on the weekends and have successfully watched multiple children overnight. Previous to starting this joyful journey, I had also in many occasions helped relatives and neighbors with their little and not so little ones. Additionally, I am a native Portuguese speaker - from Brazil - and fluent in English. I completed my bachelors degree in Business in 2018 - with a great gpa - and currently study finance at CPCC.
