Hi! My name is Allura Monroe! I’m a UT Austin graduate currently working full-time in tech sales here in Austin. While I love my career, I’ve always had a passion for working with kids and have over 5 years of childcare experience. I previously ran a swim school and worked as a swim instructor with children ages 2–12, giving me lots of experience caring for kids with different personalities, ages, and needs. I’m comfortable keeping kids active and entertained, helping with homework and tutoring, preparing meals, and creating fun, engaging activities. I’m also a big fan of sports, the outdoors, and staying active, so I love finding ways to incorporate those interests into the time I spend with kids. Most importantly, I’m responsible, patient, energetic, and genuinely love spending time with children. I also have a younger brother who I’ve helped care for throughout the years!
