Howdy! My name is Emily. I’m a native Texan from Houston, a 2022 graduate of Texas A&M University, and I’ve been living in Austin since June 2022. I began my career as a Project Manager in the life sciences industry and, in November 2025, transitioned into a Project Manager role with a medical device company here in Austin. I currently work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, which means I’m mainly available for babysitting in the evenings and on weekends. I grew up with three dogs and now have 2 of my own, so I’m very comfortable around pets. I also spent a lot of time in the kitchen growing up and am happy to help with meals. I’ve been babysitting on and off since I was 13 and would love to continue doing so in Austin as a way to supplement my income while I save for a house. Outside of work and babysitting, I enjoy paddleboarding on Lady Bird Lake, rock climbing, and hiking the Greenbelt. I also love live music, great food, and the arts—especially the Austin Symphony Orchestra, which I try to attend at least once a quarter. During the winter months, you’ll usually find me trying new recipes, reading, or rewatching favorite shows like Criminal Minds and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
