Hi parents:)! My name is Lucero, and I am currently a Senior in the Nursing Program at UT Austin. I was born and raised in Austin, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I have a genuine love for working with children, which is why babysitting has been such a rewarding experience for me. I have over three years of babysitting experience, working with children ranging from infants-teenagers. I am comfortable preparing light meals and cleaning up after the children’s toys. At this time, I am not comfortable providing pick-ups, drop-offs, or other household services. Additionally, I require a minimum booking of 4 hours.For hotel/apartment, babysitting bookings, free/guaranteed parking is required. If complimentary parking is not available, reimbursement is required. I am CPR and First Aid certified and feel confident handling emergency situations should they arise. I also pride myself on having strong communication skills and make it a priority to keep parents informed about their child’s activities, routines, and any concerns. I’m a Freshman at UT, I love kids and I’m happy to run around with them and play games for as long as they want. I’ve been in Girl Scouts for 13 years, and I’ve spent lots of time with the younger groups and planned many events with my troop for the younger scouts. I can cook and clean, I love to read, play sports, and play games. I am able to help the kids with their homework, or read with them, whatever you need. I have a license and a car if kids need to be brought anywhere while i’m sitting for them. I’m in my fifth year of ASL and can communicate if that is needed. Additionally I have been volunteering with kids with special needs for a while and am able to work with kids of any needs.
