I am from a family of 8 children and have been babysitting since I was a kid. I have been a full-time nanny since I was in college about 30 years ago. I am calm and patient and all kids love me.

I have a decade of experience with childcare I have been lucky to nanny part to full time for six years. I have an academic focus in child development and education, specializing in the Montessori model, and I am passionate about supporting curiosity and a love for learning and playing! I graduated with a degree in geoarchaeology and I have special knowledge in paleontology (dinosaurs, etc!), biology, archaeology and geology. I know tons of games and love to read or play outside! I have a clean driving record and have taken defensive driving courses to work for the City of Austin, so I'd be to take your kids on adventures! Hi! I’m Athena. I’m an Austin native, UT grad, and a Master’s grad from the UTHealth School of Public Health. I work from home as a Healthcare Data Engineer/Analyst. I have a lot of flexibility throughout weekday evenings and all day on weekends. I began babysitting for my next door neighbors when I was in middle school, so I have a lot of babysitting experience with kids of all ages (2 month - 13 years old) and with multiple kids at a time. I have been a nanny to an 8 month old and a 2.5 year old (until they were 1.5 and 3). I have also been a seasonal nanny to three kids (ages 3-7) over winter break and a seasonal nanny to three other kids (ages 1-5) for a summer. I love being active and hopefully your kids do too!
