Howdy, I’m Abby! I was born in Fort Worth and moved to Austin in 2008. I began working with children at this time, volunteering in the nursery at my church. I have experience with kids of all ages as well as neurodiversity. In my free time I like to listen to live music, read, roller skate, and volunteer with animals. Please let me know in advance of any sickness or doctor’s appointments so I can plan accordingly with other families and avoid spreading anything, thank you!

To offer the most comprehensive care possible, I hold certifications as a car seat safety technician, CPR/First Aid, peer breastfeeding counselor, and pregnancy support professional. As a certified Growing Great Kids (GGK) curriculum educator, I use proven, strength-based tools to partner with parents in supporting early childhood development. Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of caring for children of all ages — from tiny infants to adolescents. I see my role not just as a caregiver, but as a consistent partner in a child’s emotional, mental, and physical growth. Families describe my approach as calm, reliable, and deeply engaging. By blending structure and predictability with genuine warmth and fun, I create a safe space where children feel supported, respected, and free to grow.

Hello! My name is Maliyah Gibbs and I graduated in May 2023 from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors of Science. My goal is to go back to school for nursing, so that is what I’m currently pursuing. I have been a babysitter/ nanny for many years and I am CPR and First Aid certified.
