I grew up in Dallas and was an avid babysitter from age 11 through my college years: for families, in church nurseries, gym child care places, you name it. After a short career in public accounting I retired to raise a family of 3 girls. Though those girls are now for the most part ‘grown and flown,” none have provided me with grandchildren yet, so until they do I’d love to take care of your kiddos!

I am semi retired and have spent the last 11 years taking care of kids, from newborns to preteen. Parents are amazed that I form a bond with their children immediately. Hi parents and families! I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. I currently work full-time as an SLP with stroke survivors, and I love nannying and babysitting on the side! I have previous experience as a live-in nanny for a newborn and a 15-month-old, so caring for and juggling little ones is nothing new to me! My background in speech-language pathology has also given me extensive experience supporting communication, language development, learning, and most importantly, play! Working with children has always been a passion of mine, and I would love the opportunity to help care for yours! I’m primarily available on weekends, as well as weekday evenings after 5:00 PM once I’m finished with my full-time workday.
