Hello community and friends, my name is Miss Alyssa otherwise known as The Park Cities Nanny! 🧚🏼 I am a 33-year-old highly experienced nanny, RN, child development specialist and post birth doula/night nurse. Qualifications ✨ I earned my B.S. degree at Texas Woman’s University majoring in Child Development in 2023. I recently earned my BSN and work as a Registered Nurse. I have experience in pediatric critical care : emergency and ICU and NICU. I have worked professionally in behavioral health and offer healthy and positive methods for communication and behavioral management. I have coached, babysat, and nannied for over 15 years. I have worked with singleton and multiples simultaneously. As a former coach and Sunday School teacher, I am comfortable with providing academic guidance. I am a former Newborn Care Specialist and Doula. I have worked overnights night nursing for multiple families in the Dallas Proper area for the last several years. Service Work ✨ I am a former children’s volunteer at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and an active member of the Junior League volunteering in healthcare placements. I am also an Auxiliary Board member for Nexus Recovery Center previously serving as the head of events for their Child Development Center. Transportation✨ I have a well maintained vehicle- 2020 Honda HRV. Willing to drive locally. Expectations✨ Help around the house is apart of the package and I go by the saying "always leave a house better than you found it". This would entail doing dishes, laundry and surface cleaning. Outdoor play, fun outings and using our energy is something I always include in our day. I engage with children through painting, crafts and other forms of art but hey, who doesn’t love movie time, too! Overnights I am open to for out of town bookings. I am experienced in both school aged and newborn overnight care. My rate is very different when contracting for NCS work and I do not use the app. With all this being said, I would love to help you and your family in any way I can.
