From an early age I’ve taken care of infants, toddlers and young children. They have always brought me great joy. My daughters are now young adults; I’ve recently retired from the corporate life, and I now operate a successful small business. I find myself with more free time than I have had in many years, so I’m happy to help with your kiddos when I’m available.

Hello! My name is Tamika. I am bilingual and I live in Dallas. For over 25 years, I have cared for children of different ages and in many casualties. I have experience working with children of all ages (including newborns) and families. I currently work at a nonprofit women’s prenatal and postpartum clinic. I am also a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula and also a Certified Bilingual Childbirth Educator. Aside from babysitting on occasion and supporting pregnant people and families on welcoming new babies, I provide overnight postpartum/nanny care for infants and toddlers. My goal is to become a Midwife; I will begin my preceptorship early 2027. On my free time, I enjoy performing as a local artist in theater, spending time with my doodle pup and being a hands-on aunt to my sweet 8 year old niece. I worked as a kindergarten teacher for a few years before switching to nannying while I finish my masters degree at UNT.
