Hi! My name is Avery Schaffner! I am 23 years old and am originally from Orange County, Southern California but am here in Texas for school. I recently graduated from TCU with a degree in psychology! I have babysat our family friends kids since I was young and would babysit and even nanny for some kids in my area. I grew up doing Junior Lifeguards and from there became a lifeguard at my state beach. I was even a JG instructor for a few summers and working with the youngest group of kids (7-9). I was the varsity swim captain in high school and am very comfortable around water and helping kids get comfortable in the pool or ocean. I am very outgoing and love meeting new people and interacting with everyone. I am super flexible with scheduling and am always trying to make it as easy on the parents as I can when it comes to babysitting. Where ever I babysit I always make sure to leave it cleaner than when I came. I always make sure any toys out are put away or any dishes used are washed and out away out of respect to the parents. Hopefully I get to meet some of you soon and help out with your kiddos!
