I’ve had the joy of working with kids of all ages, including infants, twins, neurodiverse children, and multi-age groups through Thrive Church (ages 2–12). I’ve been a trusted sitter for over 8 years with several amazing families whether it’s helping with homework, playtime adventures, or bedtime routines, I show up with lots of energy and care. Hi! My name is Bella! I grew up around Richmond and I recently graduated from VCU with a B.S. in Mass Communications. I have four years of nannying experience with children of all ages and I really do love this job! My mom is also a professional child care giver of many years and I have learned so much from her. You can trust me be attentive and supportive while firmly maintaining household expectations. I love getting creative and busting out the art supplies or turning on some music when kids get bored. I’m very patient when children are upset and I always encourage fairness. I can prepare meals, provide transportation, handle sleep routines, and tidy up. I look forward to helping your family!

Hi, I’m Philomena, a VCU grad, and I work with an education nonprofit. I have been babysitting in the Northern Virginia area since 2011. In addition to babysitting, I worked as a day camp counselor for 2 years at Congressional Camp in Falls Church, VA. After completing my freshman year of college, I served as a cabin counselor at Camp Kesem, a week long free sleep-away camp for children affected by their parent’s cancer, and I have previously worked at Grace Covenant Child Development Center. I am typically free on weeknights and on the weekend, but it may vary depending on different work events.

Sufficient in pediatric first aid, solving routine problems without oversight, active listening, and respectfully maintaining consistent and appropriate communication with both parents and children while being well versed in the kitchen and open to light housekeeping. *Will not care for children that are over two years old and not fully potty trained.

I’m currently continuing my education & have always loved working with kids of all ages. I’m patient, reliable, & safety-focused, & I enjoy keeping kids active, engaged, & having fun! Whether that means heading outside, doing crafts, playing games, helping with homework, or just keeping little ones entertained, I love creating a positive environment where kids can thrive. I am certified in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross and also hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
