As a mother of a 23-year-old son who recently left for college out of state, I’ve spent the last two decades fully immersed in the world of parenting, caregiving, and supporting children’s growth and development. Throughout my son’s childhood, I was the dedicated “team mom,” field trip chaperone, classroom volunteer, and enthusiastic attendee at every school event and activity. Before my son was born, and for several years afterward, I worked with both school-age children and daycare programs on military bases in Florida and New Mexico. Over the years, I’ve also provided babysitting care for friends and families who needed support, whether for work commitments or a well-deserved night out. As a parent, I understand how important routines, nutrition, and family preferences are. When my son was younger, I maintained a structured schedule and paid close attention to his dietary needs due to health considerations. I know that every child and every family is different, and I always strive to respect household routines, dietary restrictions, and parenting styles. I also believe that with a little creativity, kids can still have plenty of fun while staying within their family’s guidelines and preferences. One of the biggest lessons parenthood taught me is that while we can plan for everything, children often have plans of their own! I pride myself on staying calm, patient, and resourceful when unexpected situations arise. My goal is always to handle minor issues independently so parents can enjoy their time away with confidence and peace of mind. Of course, I also understand when a situation warrants reaching out, and I will always communicate when I believe a parent would want to be informed. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a particular interest in child and adolescent behavior and development. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, encouraging their curiosity and creativity, and creating a safe, positive, and fun environment where they feel comfortable and supported.

Hi! I am from Lake Norman, North Carolina area. I have lived in Florida for 7+ years and now currently work downtown! I love spending time with kids along with being productive with them and for all to have fun safely! I love to run and be outside so walks are my favorite with kiddos. Being crafty, going outside and other activities are what I love to get the kids involved in as well. I have babysit for for over 10 yrs and understand different ages from <1 yr to 15 and their needs.

Hi! I’m Elena, a Robinson High School graduate currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I work part-time at Midtown Boba, and in my free time, I love crocheting, painting, and relaxing at the beach. In 2020, during the COVID lockdowns, my aunt had a baby girl, and I helped care for her throughout her first years of life. That experience taught me patience, creativity, and the joy of connecting with children, inspiring me to want to build meaningful relationships with the kids I care for.
