About Alyssa

Hello, my Name is Alyssa. I am currently in college pursuing my master’s degree in Healthcare Social Work, and I’ve been caring for children for over 10 years. As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve spent much of my life helping care for younger children, along with babysitting for families from my parents’ church community. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and do especially well with siblings and multi-child households. I like to keep children engaged through a balance of creative activities and playing outside, depending on the family’s preferences and the children’s interests. I am patient, dependable, and skilled in de-escalation conflict. I am additionally able to help with tutoring and guiding children through chores and routines.
