Hi everyone! I’m a California native who relocated to New Orleans. I have previous babysitting/nannying experience, most recently are my three long-term jobs one with a newborn and 1.5yr old (who I’ve now been with for 2yrs), another with a newborn, a 3yr old girl and 5yr old boy (who I was with for over 2yrs), and one with a 2yr boy, 4 yr boy and 6yr girl (for about 6 months and ongoing). I also work with multiple other families for last minute calls, sick days, and date nights. Tasks include pick up/drop offs, bathing, diapering, bottle feeding, homework help, meal prep, outdoors activities, arts and crafts, field trips to museums/zoos/parks/pools, games, light housekeeping, teaching swim lessons, and creating a positive social environment for the kiddos. Additionally, I have experience working with children as a Kindergarten English teacher in Thailand, as a Peace Corps Volunteer in primary and secondary schools and infant/child health clinics in Guyana, and as a private swim instructor in California. I have my Nurse Assistant certification, my CPR certification, my Bachelors degrees from GWU, and my Masters in Public Health from Tulane University. I’m currently available weekdays and weekends. I’m patient, dependable, caring and friendly, and absolutely enjoy working with children. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, learning, traveling, watching movies, swimming, crafting, dancing and playing with my pets. I can provide light housework (laundry/dishes/toy pick up), meal prep and animal support (feeding/walking) in addition to babysitting.
